Software as a Service

What Is Software as a Service?

Software as a Service definition and explanation.

Software as a Service (SaaS) is a software hosting, delivery, and licensing model. SaaS products are typically licensed on a subscription basis. SaaS is also referred as Cloud Software as customer data and software hosting is managed centrally by the vendor itself. SaaS typically requires very little or no integration with the customer environment making it a favorite choice by modern organizations. SaaS apps are typically accessed via a web interface using a mobile or desktop browser.
